USDA Tenders for 5,100 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Nov 19/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 5,100 metric tons (MT) of pulses for prepositioning at port for future shipment as food aid. The lion's share of the tender is for field peas, with the USDA seeking 5,000 MT of whole yellow or split yellow or green peas; along with 100 MT of black, dark red kidney and/or pinto beans. Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 117B, the USDA is buying the pulses packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from interior plants between December 20 and January 10.
