Few Changes in BirdseedsVANCOUVER - Nov 16/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were little changed in relatively light trade during the past week. Oil type sunflower markets in the United States advanced at the grower levels, while confectionary was unchanged. New crop confectionary sunflower bids are holding a solid three cent premium to spot markets for large caliber seed; while bids for small caliber seed are the same. Growers in the United States are also looking ate new crop premiums for oil-type sunflower seed, reflecting the general market enthusiasm for boosting oilseed production levels in 2008.
