Australian Livestock Auction Action RisesSYDNEY - Nov 16/07 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd rebounded during the past week on higher sheep and lamb offerings. Throughput for the week totalled 42,394 sheep and lambs, versus 30,100 head during the previous week's auctions, and 2,927 head of cattle, compared to 3,454 last week. "Sheep and lamb numbers rose. . . which continued to build on last week's upward movement," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said. "Mutton sheep sold solidly throughout the week and appeared to be making from 150 to 165c on farm on a bare shorn basis." Subscribers can read the full text of the article by Clicking here
