Dairy Product Markets Strengthen
WASHINGTON - Nov 16/07 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States were all higher during the seven days finishing November 10, judging from today's USDA update.
Cheddar Cheese prices obtained for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.92 per pound. The price per pound increased 5.8 cents compared to the previous week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $1.93 per pound, up 1.7 cents compared to the previous week.
Butter prices paid for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.29 per pound. The U.S. price per pound rose 1.9 cents versus last week.
Nonfat Dry Milk prices paid for bag, tote and tanker sales meeting USDA Extra Grade or USPH Grade A standards averaged $1.92 per pound. The U.S. price per pound gained $1.92 compared to the previous week.
