Lentils Strengthen During WeekVANCOUVER - Nov 2/07 - SNS -- International lentil markets continued to strengthen during the past week, helping by tightening supplies of available merchandise. on grower and inter-dealer markets. Growers remain reluctant sellers in both Canada and the United States, keeping pressure on grower bid levels in both countries and forcing processors and exporters to maintain asking prices at high levels. Markets were also affected by Saskatchewan Agriculture's report on the quality of this year's harvest.
