Australian Livestock Auction Action DropsSYDNEY - Nov 2/07 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd dropped during the past week on a general decrease in offerings. Throughput for the week totalled 17,559 sheep and lambs, versus 26,057 head during the previous week's auctions, and 2,411 head of cattle, compared to 3,824 last week. "Forecasters gave us renewed hopes of meaningful rain for the end of the current week and so far a few lucky souls are smiling," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said.
