Beans Maintain Bullish ToneVANCOUVER - Oct 26/07 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their bullish tone through the past week, contributing to an increasing technical attitude toward contacts on the part of processors and exporters. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 1182, up 55 points from the previous week and compared to just 825 at this time last year. Markets are 37 points shy of the record, which was set at 1219 in June of 1990. The grower index finished one point higher at 1016, versus 707 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 76.9%, down 3.7 points from last week but up 0.2 points from this time last year.
