Lentil Markets Continue AdvanceVANCOUVER - Oct 26/07 - SNS -- Whole green and red lentil markets continued to advance in relatively light, but building buying interest. With the exception of Eston, U.S. and Canadian Richlea, and French green lentils, all classes of North American lentils finished the week in record price territory on inter-dealer markets. Grower markets, by contrast, finished well off their record highs. Canadian green lentil bids were up to a third below their record highs, while red lentil bids were between CDN $3 and 60 cents per 100 pounds (cwt) below their's.
