Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 12,900 MT
KANSAS CITY - Oct 24/07 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 65,670 MT, compared to 80,080 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 8,440 MT at 10,150 MT versus 18,590 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 2,650 MT from last year's 24,840 MT.
