Frozen Fruit Down, Fresh SurgesWASHINGTON - Oct 22/07 - SNS -- Frozen fruit supplies fell 34 million pounds in September to finish the month at almost 1164.2 million pounds, up 21% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Inventories of frozen juice fell 8% from the previous year and were 13% lower than the previous month at 931 million pounds. Fresh apples stocks finished the month at 2,976 million pounds, down 4% from last year, and from just 99 million pounds the previous month.
