French Pea Exports Jump in August
VANCOUVER - Oct 17/07 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France during August more than tripled the quantity shipped in July, but remain below year earlier levels.
Data from the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) revealed exporters shipped 38,850 metric tons (MT) of peas in August, up from 12,630 MT in July and down 13.7% the 45,025 MT of field peas shipped the same month last year.
