DES MOINES - Oct 10/07 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.


Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 10/08/2007

Organic grain and feedstuff prices steady to higher compared to
two weeks ago.  Corn prices steady as new crop harvest progresses,
soybeans not established two weeks ago.  Small grains mostly
steady.  Alfalfa hay steady.  Good demand on moderate offerings.
Buyers continue to report producers looking for higher prices.
Producers are reporting good yields in Minnesota and Illinois,
while other areas report large yield swings from one field to the
next.  Monthly and 3rd quarter averages located below.
