Busy Finish To Weekly TradeCHICAGO - Oct 5/07 - SNS -- International agriculture commodity markets finished the week;s activity on a relatively busy note, with continued trading in most major grains and oilseeds reported overnight. The USDA's weekly export sales summary for soybeans was within trade expectations at 666,100 metric tons (MT). Cumulative sales have reached 37.8% of the USDA forecast as compared to 32.5% on average over the last five years, not Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) analysts. Soybean meal sales were also within trade expectations at 188,400 MT, while soybean oil sales were higher than expected at 28,600 MT. Weekly wheat export sales were within trade expectations at 1.59 million MT. CBOT analysts say cumulative sales have reached 80.0% of the USDA forecast as compared to 48.0% on average over the last five years. Sales of just 170,500 MT per week are needed to reach the USDA estimate. Weekly corn export sales were within trade expectations at 1.15 million MT. Cumulative sales have now reached 37.7% of the USDA forecast for the year as compared to 23.9% on average over the last five years.
