Dairy Product Markets Advance
WASHINGTON - Oct 5/07 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States were all higher over the seven days ending September 29, judging from today's USDA update.
Cheddar Cheese prices obtained for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $2.01 per pound. The price per pound gained $2.01 compared to last week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $2.02 per pound, up $2.02 from last week.
Butter prices received for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.35 per pound. The U.S. price per pound increased $1.35 versus last week.
Nonfat Dry Milk prices received for bag, tote and tanker sales meeting USDA Extra Grade or USPH Grade A standards averaged $2.06 per pound. The U.S. price per pound rose $2.06 compared to last week.
