Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 9/22/2007
Organic grain and feedstuff prices mixed compared to two weeks
ago. Corn prices lower on pressure from new crop, soybeans
not established. Small grains mostly steady to firm. Alfalfa
hay steady. Good demand on moderate to light offerings. Buyers
report lots of interest in prices for new crop. The harvesting
has begun of the 2007 crop in various regions of the U.S.
Yields seem to be all over the spectrum. Areas of Iowa
reporting 200 plus yields in corn, with beans over 60 bu per
