Birdseeds Finish on Stronger NoteVANCOUVER - Sep 21/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets in North American finished the week's trading on a generally stronger note. Oil-type and confectionary sunflower markets were little changed on the week. But, white proso millet values advanced in the United States, gaining U.S. 25 cents per 100 pounds (cwt) on both grower and inter-dealer markets. Canadian canaryseed advanced 50 cents cwt at the grower level to finish the week bids ranging up to $19.50 cwt for farmers dressed product, while machine dressed canaryseed packed in bulk was available at U.S. $22 cwt on a loaded truck or railcar basis in western Canada.
