Bullish Finish For BeansVANCOUVER - Sep 14/07 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mostly bullish note, with demand from all sources lifting well ahead of product available from growers and processors. North America’s spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 1049, up 11 points from the previous week; while the grower index finished one points lower at 923. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 78.8%, versus 79.9% last week and down 0.1 points from this time last year. With the exception of pinto beans, markets for all classes of beans were pulled higher, with bullish excitement evident among most North American shippers as well as exporters from Argentina and other countries.
