DES MOINES - Sep 14/07 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.

Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 9/08/2007

Organic grain and feedstuff prices mostly steady.  Compared
to two weeks ago, corn and barley firm, oats and wheat steady.
Good demand on moderate to light offerings by producers for
old crop.
***New crop contracts are the talk.  Reports of new crop corn
being contracted for prices ranging from 8.75 to 9.50.  Some
producers seem to have mixed feelings.  Feed soybean contract
prices range from 14.00 to over 16.00, new crop barley from
8.00 to near 8.75.***
