Capacity Problems For U.S. PeasVANCOUVER - Sep 7/07 - SNS -- North American field pea markets ended weekly trading on a strong note, with tight processing capacity becoming a significant factor in U.S. markets. Capacity problems were clearly reflected in the results of last week's USDA PL-480 food aid tender purchases. USDA buyers said they did not receive offers of 2,000 metric tons (MT) of yellow split peas for October shipment; after having failed to receive offers on 4,040 MT of yellow split peas for September shipment on invitation 087A.
