United States Popcorn Dealer Price ReviewVANCOUVER - Sep 7/07 - STAT -- U.S. Popcorn markets finished the 2006-07 marketing year with prices soaring 19% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country. The average trading level for Popcorn was USD$18.10 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $15.20 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags in the U.S. midwest. Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $20.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $14.70 per cwt in September.
