United States Dealer Bean Index ReviewVANCOUVER - Sep 7/07 - STAT -- The spot market dealer price index for dry edible beans grown in the United States at the close of the 2006-07 marketing year advancing 6% above the recent three year average. For the season just ended, the Bean Index was 909 points, compared to an annual average of 854 during the previous three year period for dry edible bean classes included in the index calculation. Analysis of the monthly pattern reveals the highest monthly average index level was 1020 points in August, while the lowest monthly average level was .
