Canadian Egg Output Continues to SlipOTTAWA - Sep 7/07 - SNS -- Canadian egg production through July of this calendar year is lagging the comparable period in 2006, judging from the latest data available from Statistics Canada. Egg production was estimated at 48.7 million dozen in May, down 1.0% from July 2006. Poultry meat production reached 102.5 million kilograms in July, up 5.3% from July 2006.
