United States Pink Bean Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 6/07 - STAT -- United States Pink Bean markets finished the 2006-07 marketing year with prices offered to growers rising 3% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pink Bean was USD$22.31 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $21.76 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $23.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $20.60 per cwt in September.
