Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 1/07 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning Summary:
Nil.
Current Weather Situation and Future Developments:
A cold front will move into southwestern New South Wales later today. This front
is expected to move through much of the state during Monday, bringing  cooler
conditions  and  isolated showers, most likely along the southern half of the
coast and ranges, with the southerly change along the coast reaching Taree by
about midnight. A High in the Bight on Monday will move southeast of Tasmania on
Tuesday and towards New Zealand on Wednesday with a ridge continuing towards New
South Wales. This will maintain a deep east to southeast airstream over New
South Wales on Tuesday and Wednesday with isolated showers continuing along the
coast, and possibly the eastern inland on Tuesday.
Forecast for Sunday
Early fog patches along the coast. Isolated showers on the far north coast. Fine
and mainly sunny over the remainder. Northwest to northeast winds ahead of a
south to southwest change in the southwest  late afternoon/evening.
Fire danger:
Forecast for Monday
Isolated showers developing in the southeast of the state and extending
northwards to the  Central and Mid North Coast and adjacent ranges. There is
also a chance of isolated afternoon showers developing over the southern inland.
A cooler southerly change is expected to move through most of the state,
reaching Taree by about midnight.
Forecast for Tuesday
Fine in the west.  Isolated showers along the coast and ranges, possibly
extending to the eastern inland.  East to southeast winds, fresh to strong along
the coast.
Forecast for Wednesday
Isolated showers in the east. Fine inland. East to northeast winds inland and
southeast winds along the coast, fresh in the north.
