Lentils Manage Firmer Finish
VANCOUVER - Aug 31/07 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week on a generally firmer note despite seasonally light trading conditions and ongoing harvest activity in Canada and the United States.
The level of trading interest was influenced by the fact traders in Canada were heading into the last long weekend of the summer period.
The level of activity should start to pick up in September, with most northern hemisphere traders back at their desks after the summer holiday period and processors looking to find homes for product growers want to sell.
