Vegetable Inventories Down on YearWASHINGTON - Aug 22/07 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable supplies rose 22% during July to finish the month at almost 1,503 million pounds, down 9% from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Compared to the previous month, stocks of green beans, corn, okra and green peas were up. Compared to last year, stocks of asparagus, baby lima beans, broccoli, carrots and blackeye peas were down.
