Few Changes in lentil MarketsVANCOUVER - Aug 17/07 - SNS -- International lentil markets were mostly unchanged in light, summer holiday trade during the past week. Many European traders are not yet back from their annual summer holidays, with the result little effort is being made to cover outstanding needs for the fall shipping period. Latin American buyers remain mostly absent from markets, still consuming product bought earlier in the year. They expect to start returning to markets later in the fall, with some hoping their absence will contribute to some easing in North American asking prices.
