USDA Tenders for 10,190 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Aug 15/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 10,190 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid. The requests are split over two tenders. Under terms of invitation 087A, the USDA is seeking 2,620 MT of pinto beans; 7,890 MT of yellow split peas; and 100 MT of lentils all packed in 50 kg bags. Under invitation 087B, the USDA is seeking 4,080 MT of split yellow peas for prepositioning for future shipment as food aid. Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 087A, the USDA is buying pulses packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from interior plants between September 16 and 30 or from plants located at port between October 1 and 15. Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 087B, the USDA is buying the peas packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from interior plants between September 15 and October 6 or from plants located at port between October 6 and 27.
