Lentils Start New Crop TransitionVANCOUVER - Aug 10/07 - SNS -- North American lentil markets began the transition into new crop pricing during the past week, with green lentil asking prices easing in the United States in the face of harvest selling pressure. Importers report a similar change in attitude among Canadian exporters, though limited grower participation in markets remains an issue for processors and exporters in that country. The week started with 16% of Canada's lentil crop already harvested and another 29% in swath.
