Bigger Sugar Supply in 2007-08WASHINGTON - Aug 10/07 - SNS -- Available supplies of sugar in U.S. markets in 2007-08 and stocks remaining at the end of the marketing year are looking larger than originally though, according to the latest supply and demand outlook from the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board. "Projected 2007-08 U.S. sugar supply is increased slightly from last month, as higher beginning stocks more than offset slightly lower production, which is based on projections compiled by the Farm Service Agency," the USDA said.
