USDA Buys 16,810 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Aug 8/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 16,810 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid. Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 087, the pulses were bought for shipment from inland plants between September 1 and 22 or from plants located at port between September 23 to October 13.
