Canaryseed Lifts Birdseed Markets
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were led higher at weeks end by continued strength in Canadian canaryseed markets.
Unusually hot and dry conditions in Saskatchewan is causing processors to lower yield forecasts for this year's crop and adding to the reluctance of growers to participate in markets.
