Weekly Canadian Crush Rises
WINNIPEG - Aug 3/07 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 73,806 metric tons (MT) of canola and 36,605 of soybeans during the week ending August 1.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush rose 24.8%, after declining the previous week. Soybean crush jumped 57.7%, for a second week of rising activity.
