MELBOURNE - Aug 1/07 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Thursday.
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Gale Warning is current for the South Central Coast south and west of Kangaroo
Island and the South East Coast south of Cape Jaffa.
A Strong Wind Warning is current for the remainder of the South Central and
South East Coasts, and the West Coast and Gulf Waters south of Streaky Bay to
Cowell to Port Wakefield.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Isolated showers about southern coasts and the South East district, increasing
to scattered later today then extending to southern agricultural districts
Thursday. Isolated showers over the northern Agricultural districts later
Thursday and a band of patchy rain over the Pastoral districts. Possible thunder
about southern coasts and the Lower South East. Moderate to fresh northwest
winds, strong and squally about southern coasts and ranges, turning west to
