Saturday morning. A ridge should gradually move towards the state through the
weekend into the new week.
Forecast for Wednesday
Showers about the southern inland, contracting to the western slopes of the
ranges south from around Orange this afternoon, and easing overnight. Fine and
mild to warm over the remainder with some areas of high cloud. Moderate to fresh
north to northwest winds turning more westerly in the southwest.
Forecast for Thursday
Patchy rain developing on the northwestern border, increasing and extending east
and south and reaching the southern and central ranges by late in the day or
overnight. Fine elsewhere, though with increasing cloud. Mild to warm north to
northwest winds.
Forecast for Friday
Areas of rain, clearing from the southwest during the day and becoming
concentrated along the western slopes, ranges and most of the adjacent coast.
Remaining fine in the far northeast. Snow on the Alps and on higher parts of the
Southern Ranges. A cooler west to southwest change extending into the northeast
late in the day.
