World's Edible Beans Hold FirmVANCOUVER - Jul 27/07 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week little changed to firmer as demand remained slightly ahead of supplies available from North and South American shippers. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 982, up three points from the previous week; while the grower index finished down three points at 875. Processors there are looking at an overall average crop, but with parts of the United States and Canada expecting below average yields and potential quality problems.
