Feed Peas Firm Despite Low InterestVANCOUVER - Jul 21/07 - SNS -- European feed pea markets finished the week on a firm note, with stiff competition from export markets for food grade peas limiting stocks available from growers in France. Grower bids in France and the United Kingdom were up sharply on the week, with buyers in some locations withdrawn because they do not feel confident that can convince compound feed manufacturers to buy at current prices. Canadian feed peas exporters face a similar dilemma, resulting in few new crop sales to Spain and other destinations.
