Australian Livestock Auction Action SlipsSYDNEY - Jul 13/07 - SNS -- Livestock sold through online auctions managed by AuctionsPlus Pty Ltd fell during the past week on reduced cattle offerings. Throughput for the week totalled 21,785 sheep and lambs, versus 20,458 head during the previous week's auctions, and 2,864 head of cattle, compared to 4,709 last week. "The result of shorter cattle numbers was an improvement of between 2c and 15c for varying weights of steers, heifers were stronger, particularly feeder heifers," AuctionsPlus's Dean Lemmich said.
