CGC Shows Canada's May Pea Exports DownWINNIPEG - Jul 2/07 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports field exports in May totalled 109,700 metric tons (MT) through licensed terminal facilities, which are required to report to it all grain movement. This is down from the 256,600 MT shipped the same month last year and down from the 159,300 MT shipped the previous month. The CGC reports field pea exports so far during the 2006-07 marketing total 1,381,600 MT, down from 1,750,200 MT the first ten months of the previous season.
