Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 1/07 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for areas southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Lake
Grace to Bremer Bay.
Warning for Sheep Farmers in the Lower West, Southwest, Great Southern and South
Coastal Districts.
Wind Warnings for coastal waters from Carnarvon to Caiguna.
Forecast for Sunday
Gascoyne, far western Pilbara, northern Goldfields and SW Interior: Areas of
rain, extending from the northwest during the day. Some moderate to heavy falls.
Southwest Land Division: Scattered showers about western coastal districts with
isolated showers inland. A band of widespread squally showers, thunderstorms and
strong to gale force NW winds extending from the west. Moderate to heavy falls
are possible in western districts, light falls are expected in the east.
Southern Goldfields: Isolated showers increasing in the south in the evening.
Forecast for Monday
Gascoyne, west Pilbara, northern and eastern Goldfields, SW Interior and Eucla:
Cloudy with rain areas, easing over the Eucla towards evening.
Far eastern parts of the SW Land Division, adjacent Gascoyne and SW Goldfields:
Isolated early showers clearing.

SW Goldfields: Isolated showers developing late evening.
