Quiet Trade in Feed Pea Complex
VANCOUVER - Jun 29/07 - SNS -- International feed pea markets were mixed on the week, with European values looking for new pricing levels for spot peas just in front of this year's harvest.
Winter pea harvest activity is underway in France, but land in these varieties is limited and production is not expected to have a material impact on nearby markets.
Despite this year's heat wave, field pea market participants in France are hopeful about yield prospects for spring peas, seeing a chance for average yields to be slightly better than last year.
