Beans Maintain Firm Tone But . . .VANCOUVER - Jun 29/07 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets remained firm under relatively light trading interest, with values for North American Argentine origin product steady to higher. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 971, up nine points from the previous week; while the grower index finished unchanged at 876. Larger caliber white beans remain the strongest, with medium caliber product such as great northern beans enjoying the opportunity to trade at higher levels.
