U.S. Proso Millet Area Rises
WASHINGTON - Jun 29/07 - SNS -- Planted area for the 2007 proso millet in the United States is estimated at 610,000 acres, 5% above last year's total of 580,000 acres, according to the USDA's seeded area estimates for 2007.
Lower planted acreage in Colorado was more than offset by higher planted acreage in Nebraska and South Dakota.
