Feed Peas Maintain Values
VANCOUVER - Jun 22/07 - SNS -- European feed pea markets mnaintained their values during the past week in the face on ongoing competition for early season supplies from food pea markets.
This is clearly reflected in higher bids for peas delivered to the port city of Rouen in France, than other locations. More importantly, the spread between bids at interior and port locations is wider than usual.
Food pea markets are also ruining interest in participating in North American feed pea markets on the part of both growers and livestock feed manufacturers.
