USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 14,470 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jun 20/07 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 41,790 MT, compared to 31,870 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 5,680 MT from last year's 29,690 MT level.
