Greenfield Opens Quebec Ethanol PlantMONTREAL - Jun 20/07 - SNS -- GreenField Ethanol officially opened its Varennes plant in Quebec today. The plant will produce 120 million liters of ethanol each year from 12 million bushels corn. GreenField also has plants operating in Chatham and Tiverton, Ontario, and two more are under construction in Johnstown and Hensall, Ontario that are scheduled to be operating in 2008. All ethanol produced at the plant for the coming decade will be sold to Petro-Canada.
