Argentine Problems Support Beans
VANCOUVER - Jun 15/07 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week steady to firmer in light trading activity against concerns about the Argentine harvest.
North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 956, up four points from the previous week; while the grower index finished unchanged at 876.
The Argentine white alubia bean harvest is nearing completion, with processors reporting significant quality problems with initial deliveries from growers.
