European Feed Peas StrongerVANCOUVER - Jun 15/07 - SNS -- Feed markets in Europe were generally firmer on the week, with markets in most countries making the transition to a new crop pricing basis. This saw steep declines in grower bid levels in the United Kingdom, where processors are lowering bids in anticipation of harvest selling pressure and the need to find prices which are competitive on world markets. By contrast, grower bids in France continued to strengthen on the week as exporters worked to secure supplies of food quality peas for shipment to the Indian subcontinent in July and August.
