Birdseed Ingredient Firmer
VANCOUVER - Jun 15/07 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets in North America were generally firmer on the week, with advances recorded for both millet and sunflower seed.
While confectionary sunflower seed markets were mostly unchanged, oil-type sunflower was firmer.
North Dakota grower bids were up 50 cents per 100 pounds (cwt) on the week at $17 cwt delivered Fargo on spot markets; while bids in Kansas jumped 35 cents to $17.05 on spot markets and 45 cents to $18 for new crop delivery.
