Pea Markets Looking to New CropVANCOUVER - Jun 15/07 - SNS -- Field pea export activity from North America is slowing rapidly against quickly tightening stocks in both Canada and the United States. However, the situation looks to change once the harvest gets underway and exporters ramp up to ship what some believe will be a record volume in the opening quarter of the 2007-08 marketing campaign. The volume which needs to move to port in August and September will determine whether harvest selling by growers has a negative impact on opening new crop bids.
